Summer is over.
I was saying to hubby just last night
"can you believe that summer is over...?" He couldn't.
I also said, "it feels like this year has been around for a long time already we are only closing the second month but it feels like the eighth." He agreed... good man.
But as I said... just like that summer is over...
As we welcome the cooler more temperamental weather we also welcome the realisation that this little person that I am growing inside is in fact three months/one season away from greeting us with all of their awesome.
So as we say ciao to what was the 2012/2013 Summer season and move on to bigger and better things, lets look at our Summer days...
There were beach days...
There were maintenance days...
There were days with announcements...
More beach days...
New Years was seen in...
There were days we were tourists in our own city...
Days I was spoilt to concerts...
Days we baked...
Kite flying days...
There were days we got to just hang out...
Days were I had to really look to find my happy...
Oh look more beach days...
There were days that it took everything in my power not to cry with the realisation that there is another summer under my belt and my little man may be just growing up a little too fast.
