[The 52 project] 18/52

"A portrait of my children, once a week, every week for 2014."

Finnley- Lets just talk about your hair for a second. It goes every which way... even up, and it reminds me a lot of my own. The sides are trying to sort out whether it is going to be curly or not. You have INSANE bed hair, and I have shared my fair share of crazy do's on instagram. The bald patch at the back in the centre has only really just started to fill in this week. But this bit at the back... its a cow-lick... with a massive curl, which sticks up at the end. AND I ADORE IT!

Ronan- You stopped. Not for long. But long enough for me to see you relax.

Finnley- Life skills... scaling furniture, walking along the furniture or between people and furniture... every day you astound us with your newest tricks.

Ronan- Your true love is this guitar, even with only 5 strings... You have others... well they are ukuleles but to you this guitar is the BUSINESS!

"A portrait of my children, once a week, every week for 2014."

Finnley- Your after bath toes are just so scrumptious!
You adore the bath... always have... the giggles, laughter and fun that happens with each bath time are something I look forward to daily.

Ronan- For as long as I can remember... so basically for as long as you have been able to... You have adored being on your Dad's shoulders.
Being able to see things from a better vantage point... whats not appealing about that?
Especially when it came to looking at the Hippos at the 'Safari'!

Finnley- Watching, watching, watching. It's hard being the littlest and having to wait inside while big brother goes nutso on the peddley type toys, it is MUCH safer inside though bub.

Ronan- This photo lets me peek into the window of what was a littler you... your cheeks give it away. You are so deep in thought... penny for your thoughts little man...

[The 52 Project] 14/52

"A portrait of my children, once a week, every week for 2014."

Finnley- You broke through our make shift barrier of baskets full of books and you were not fooled by the fact that they toy mat was in your way... You pushed them all out of the way so that you could STAND up at the tv unit!!! Then you proceeded to shout and yell at the Cars movie with great volume!

Ronan- 'Reach for the starrrrrs'... or the clouds in this matter. You relished in one on one time on this day while Finnley was in bed. It was warm and sunny outside and you had BOTH Mumma and Dad to play with out in the yard, the laughter was infectious!

"A portrait of my children, once a week, every week for 2014."

Finnley- Outside on the deck... it's one of your favourite places to be, we are blessed to have the deck that we have it really is an extension of our home. With plenty of space for you to explore and discover... though after a while... your knees become sore and its time for a rest with a cuddle from Mumma.

Ronan- Your concentration face... those lashes... You welcome new activities with joy and adventure and I love to see you exploring the,.

"A portrait of my children, once a week, every week for 2014."

Finnley- Your new favourite place, you hit the sliding door when you want to go out onto the deck for a swing. When up there you watch the dogs (IF they are moving around the yard) and the leaves on the tree when the wind blows.

Ronan- Always and for ever you have played with these two toys. Loading the trailer... always, scoop after scoop all day if I let you.

Finnley- I still see hints of your smaller baby days when you put your legs up in the air, with your legs crossed I might add... always with your legs crossed.

Ronan- Your happy place.

[The 52 Project] 10/52

This is something I have always wanted to do {among many other things} when it comes to blogging, but my children's privacy comes to mind every time I share them on here. So, this may become a weekly thing.. or a one off.. I will see how we go...

and if that isn't honest blogging I don't know what is.

So considering we are already in week 10 of the year... who cares, I am just going with it anyways.

"A portrait of my children, once a week, every week for 2014."

Finnley: Getting so good at sitting on his own now... when he wants to take off, he lets me know by leaning forward and hitting the floor so I relieve him of his sitting position.

Ronan: Tired.... Dirty... Boy.
